National Ceremony
On Sept. 11, 2002, representatives of the Canadian and United States governments gathered on the tarmac at Gander International Airport for Canada's official ceremony to commemorate the first anniversay of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. Among those attending were Prime Minister Jean Cretien, U.S. Ambassador to Canada Paul Cellucci and Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Roger Grimes.
